Course Description

This course provides awareness and safety education only.

Completion does not qualify participants to perform asbestos abatement, removal, or regulated activities.

Specialized asbestos work requires properly licensed and certified professionals.

This course introduces participants to common asbestos-related hazards encountered in older buildings and renovation activities. Instruction emphasizes identification awareness, disturbance risks, and appropriate safety considerations when working in environments where asbestos may be present.

The training prioritizes risk reduction and hazard avoidance strategies.
