Participants will learn how to safely operate manual pallet jacks, reducing the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace. This training includes best practices for lifting, pushing, and pulling, as well as strategies for preventing common accidents like tip-overs, collisions, and strain injuries. By the end of the course, participants will have the skills and knowledge needed to handle pallet jacks confidently and safely.

  • Compliance and Certification Requirements

    This manual Pallet Jack Safety Training course is an awareness course and includes the areas outlined in 29 CFR 1910.176 (Handling Materials), as applicable. This course satisfies the regulatory requirement(s). For operators of electric pallet jacks, OSHA requires certification through training and practical evaluation, as these are classified as Powered Industrial Trucks (PITs) under 29 CFR 1910.178.
