Environmental. Social. Governance.

At Safety Compliance Services, we are committed to driving sustainable practices and fostering inclusivity across our operations.

Since our launch in 2020, we are committed to a digital office model.

Environmental

Digital offices reduce energy consumption, lower carbon emissions, and reduce waste. As we are headquartered in the greater Los Angeles area, the average Angelino spends 119 hours per year stuck in traffic. That adds up to a cost of at least $3,640 out of the employee’s pocket. Do you know what you can do with 100 hours? Become a master in something.

Social

Because we are digital, we are able to employ people without geographical constraints – meaning that we can reduce barriers for applicants with racial, ethnic, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic backgrounds, and ability, promoting equality and diversity in our workforce. Digital offices can provide flexible work arrangements, accommodating diverse needs such as caregivers, individuals with disabilities, and those living in remote areas. This diversity enriches our team with a variety of perspectives, experiences, and talents, ultimately driving innovation, creativity, and success in our organization.

Governance

Leveraging digital platforms has lead to transparent and meaningful engagement with stakeholders, employees, customers, and communities, to incorporate their perspectives into decision-making processes. Developing and implementing digital tools and platforms to enhance the effectiveness of corporate governance frameworks, including governance policies, procedures, and oversight mechanisms.

We actively engage in continual improvement.

Environmental

We consider a number of factors in sourcing including options in the marketplace to determine needs and if they can be sourced with as little waste as possible and take into consideration the carbon footprint of distance and method of transportation. The biggest cause of carbon emissions are industrial activities including waste, energy, and transport.

Social

We actively pursue strategic partnerships with women and minority-owned businesses, aiming to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in our supply chain and broader business ecosystem. By collaborating with these partners, we not only support their growth and success but also contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable economy. Studies show improvements in performance, more jobs created and more benefits to the community when companies engage in supplier diversity.

Governance

We prioritize education and professional development opportunities for our team to enhance their governance knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities. By staying informed about emerging governance trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices, we ensure that our organization remains at the forefront of effective governance. Investing in our team’s growth and development is a core value that drives our commitment to excellence.

We take a holistic approach to workplace safety and expand the scope from physical safety to include mental, emotional, and financial wellbeing.

Environmental

Any nature lover understands the concept of “leave no trace”.  In implementing safety measures, we consider resource efficiency and sustainability with the use of digital tools to help with information distribution, training, reports, resources, and other deliverables. Less stuff is less fuss – an important concept in safety.

Social

We prioritize the holistic health and security of our team members including mental, emotional, and financial well-being by promoting work-life balance, rest, nutrition, and self-care to support overall well-being and productivity; fulfilling our living wage promise to ensure fair compensation for all employees; and fostering inclusive and diverse workplaces with a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination. These frameworks can help reduce, mitigate, and eliminate workplace incidents.

Governance

We uphold the highest standards of corporate governance, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our business operations. It takes a village to run an organization, so we engage with stakeholders to solicit feedback, address concerns, and continuously improve our performance. Feedback is positively correlated with safety and performance.
