Course Description

There are many diverse hazards associated with trade, property service, and field work that are not usually found in a shop or industrial setting. Workers in these fields are also frequently operating independently and have to act as their own safety manager/advocate. This half-day program delivers focused instruction on everyday safety risks encountered in trade, property service, and field work environments and emphasizes hazard recognition, injury prevention, and realistic work practices. The course is designed for independent workers, small business operators, and trade professionals. Instruction prioritizes useful knowledge with effective and practical decision-making strategies.
