We understand all too well, after the pandemic, that people may be carrying bacteria or viruses that are dangerous to others. In a workplace setting, there are times when potentially infectious materials, like blood, might need to be handled. If an employee cuts themselves, there is a procedure for safely handling the cleanup and disposal of the blood.
Health and medical information is private. From that perspective, we don’t know what potential biological hazard might be carried in blood or other bodily fluids. In order to best handle a situation where there might be exposure, there is a methodology and operational guideline for cleanup, sanitization and disposal procedures.
This course covers the important steps and precautions to take when dealing with fluids which may contain pathogens.
